Little Dragon
“Ritual Union”
Live at Glastonbury 2011

My review of Little Dragon’s new album Ritual Union is up on Pitchfork today. It’s kind of a frustrating record for me — there’s so much to love about it, but I can’t shake the feeling that most of the songs are a bit under-written. This song is pure gold, though.

This song is really fucking good, and their previous record is also really good (see Matthew’s Pitchfork review) so I’m a little disappointed that this one’s apparently not as…complete? I haven’t heard it yet, though, so hopefully Matthew is wrong. Otherwise Little Dragon is gonna keep getting slept on, except by a crowd that also loves a lot of garbage.
