My dreams are typically unconnected vignettes of surreal, inexplicable psychological subtext that weird me out if I think too deeply about them. But the dream I had last night — or at least the part of the dream I was having until my alarm went off — was pretty straightforward. I was getting snarked on by some hardcore punk dudes, so I decided to retaliate by making up the dumbest, meanest parodies of hardcore I could think of. After waking up I forgot the lyrics I made up, but I thought up some new ones in pretty short order. Here are some of them:

and then we kicked him out

I’m pretty sure some band out there somewhere has already done a song like this as an intentional parody, but it’s a fog-brained 6:20 a.m. idea so whatever.
This is extremely funny if you make up a tune and imagine singing it.
