But I been rewatching the 7-11 footage and he does look a lil suspicious at the counter . He keeps searching for his money, and puts his hands above and below the actual pockets. He feels around and an one points starts sliding his hands his body.

He forgot his wallet

And he’s so unused to being this tall he can’t remember exactly where is pockets are.

Trayvon was Goof-Troop. He was that dude in school who left 5’7 and came back 6’4. By all accounts he had only recently become that tall.

We are watching a fucking baby deal with a growth spurt.

Those ” old pictures” ?

One to two years at most . Look so different because he grew and thinned out so fast. One of the LATER pictures with his father kissing him ( aupposedly found on his FB page ALONG with the supposed money pictures) show him right under his fathers nose . A family picture shows him towering three days before his death

He was a teenager . He was probably aggravating the hell out of em.He was new to them. He was JUST becoming a man , they didn’t yet recognize , His parents chose pictures of him when he was still that baby they remembered. They probably didn’t have that many photos of him that size yet. Those were what they had left of him .

They weren’t plotting or pr- ing. They were keeping their last moments of their baby boy to themselves. And even that got taken .

We watched a kid about to die just as he began to grow.

You’re going to make me cry & kid #1 will be most peeved if he ends up on Mama lockdown, but yes. I’m watching my son grow, literally grow right in front of my eyes. 6 weeks ago he came to shoulder, 3 weeks ago he came to my nose, now? We’re the same height. At this rate I’ll be looking up at him before the summer is out. He can pick me up now. And he’s not even 13 yet. His biological great grandfather was just shy of 7 ft, his maybe grandfather (on my side which is a complicated mess of my mother’s making) is 6ft 4. My son will be man sized, long before he is a man and yes, he wears hoodies, and goes to the store in a body that was different last week. And no, I can’t say he will never try weed, or sneak some booze, or imitate celebrity swag.

But I can say that I am not Christian, or kind, or forgiving of harm that comes to him, much less his murder. I can say that I believe in the kind of justice that comes in blood and pain. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord I don’t quite believe in, and I would have vengeance if I couldn’t have justice, so I applaud Trayvon’s parents, and I hope this helps them somehow, but every time someone tries to play in their pain for fun or profit? I think it brings them closer to this place where I live, and that’s a terrible thing. Because if his people ask for violence one day to make their son’s killer and the society that birthed him pay? I don’t know that I will say no. I don’t know that we should say no.
